Cerealto

Terre di Cerealto is the first estate in the Veneto region to plant resistant grape varieties. Two high-quality white varieties, with particular characteristics that come together in a blend that brings out all the potential and aromaticity of Bronner and the finesse and character of Johanniter. "Cerealto" is the result of the meeting between the great passion of Silvestro Cracco and Massimo Reniero, supported by the experience and professionalism of oenologist Nicola Biasi. Altopiano di Cerealto (Valle dell'Agno), it is here, at the foot of the Piccole Dolomiti, at an altitude of 700 metres, that our vineyards are located. We use the Select Green cork by Nomacorc, a high-performance eco-friendly cork made of plant substances (sugar cane), which offers better oxygen control and is completely recyclable.

Harvest

Hand-picked into small 10 kg crates between the end of September and beginning of October, depending on the single crus.

Soft pressing followed by static fining

Seven months on lees with frequent batonnage, and one month's maturing in the bottle before release for sale.

Pairings

Vibrant acidity and outstanding aromatic precision demand fish based plates, especially raw, and raw vegetables.  The mouth feel created by partial maturing in barriques also encourages pairing with more structured dishes, such as white meats and savoury pies.
